*waves* I hope all is well with everyone. Last night I made a poll on my LJ community – if you’re a Livejournal user, please take the time to take the poll to let me know your interests in regards what I create and share for you! I’ve been updating quite often but I haven’t really been getting much feedback from people, lately.. Is why I’d like to know more about what you think.

Ok.. on to the new sets : I made these very quickly last night/this morning, Based on one texture with added combinations.. Also, I didn’t really crop them all in a set dimensions. They’re roughly 200x200px textures, but some are slightly smaller. 48 textures in each set. I wasn’t planning this, was just playing around and … ooohh colorful!! *bounces* 8P So if they’re useless and boring, oh well…. But I hope you like them and can use them, somehow… 

REAL COMMENTS are absolutely wanted and would be much appreciated. I hate wordpress and seriously will remove it one of these days.. I will go back to pure xhtml/css again.Thank you so much to those who’s been visiting and commenting on my posts… you have no idea how much your comments help me go through any defunk day.. lol. No seriously.. If I don’t hear from you whenever I share something I can’t help thinking that I’m wasting my precious time making all these things for..? Hello everyone! I’m back with some textures today. I’ve been looking through my old work and managed to find a few old textures that I never shared before. So there’s one set of regular large textures (7 textures, I think) then I also have a set of icon textures that I made ages ago for my own use in my icons.. thought I’d share them with you as well. With these two, I’m also adding one set of 8 large textures that I just made in the past few days to help support the site ‘financially’. I can tell you honestly that I have to do this in order to keep my work and HG’s name online. I can no longer afford paying the bills for this site. So I’m asking you all to help a little bit every now and then by purchasing some work… I will always share free stuff with you. HGX will be back as well. I’m basically doing this full time at the moment since I don’t really have any other projects lining up for me to do. This means, no income for me. Therefore your support is very much appreciated!!

I will write up a blog post about what I’m going to be doing, etc… so you all can read that one if you’re interested in whatever I’m doing everyday K on to the goodies!!

Hello guys! I promised an update, so here it is. I have 5 free new textures to share. Just random ones that I came up with while playing around with my brushes. I keep confusing myself with all these new subjects.. what do I need to put as subject? I’m posting the first seven textures for 2012. From now on I’m going to post them individually instead of in sets, due to the lack of time in managing everything on this site and my on computer.. I have way too many stuffs to manage.. I just spent a good hour just trying to fix my stupid WP-admin area.. everything somehow got so messed up by the plugins that I had.. so I deleted almost all of them. SO LUCKY that I backed up my site onto my HD a few weeks ago, because it just saved my night! I just had to upload the previous config.php I had before whatever upgrade I did online.. *phew* It fixed it! It’s all ok now.

Anyways, I have 7 new textures, the first 2 were already posted on my DA  a few days ago Please click images below to view/download the textures. I really hope you guys don’t mind me sharing them this way.. Honestly, setting them all up into different sets was one of the things that kinda slowed me down in updating.. I’m sure, well.. I hope, as long as I update often with new stuff and no matter how I do it, you guys will still enjoy them! Here’s hoping..

*waves* Hello everyone! I’m only going to do a quick post – I’ve been told that my very old stars/sparkles brushes were missing from the site. So I’m just here to post it for you all whoever want it. I made these brushes a very long time ago.. a good 9 years! Old and they’re pretty small in sizes. So I hope they could still be useful!

Oh my, if you’ve been following my FB page or Twitter then you’d know that my HD just crashed last week. I lost everything, including my most recent photography and illustration work that I had been working on for the past few weeks. Some clients work as well is gone!! I’m so sorry! This happened to me so often in the past two years, it’s what slowed me down by a lot. It’s so hard to restart again. Trying to remember what I’ve done – what I had.. Now my system is all brand new again, empty and has nothing. I’ve just installed Photoshop again, but hey… no sweet brushes that I made not long ago.. those awesome brushes and textures that I was going to share with my HGX members. The long hours I’ve spent illustrating some high quality prints that I also was planning to share on HGX. I literally cried when I lost them all.

How am I supposed to redo them? I don’t even remember exactly how they looked. So so frustrating.

I’m sorry for another slow down on the site, everyone. {Please know that I’m still here and trying my hardest to restart again.. I don’t want to stop and then disappear again like last time. I’m here to stay for good… so please don’t give up on me. I will bring this site back up with some new amazing stuff… I promise!

For now, thank you so much for supporting HG, my work and especially, me – you have no idea how much I appreciate you guys being around! I get so depressed when I don’t have much to update. Life is kicking me in the butt and it’s always hectic. But I really hope to have more energy this week to be creative and productive! December is coming, it means crazy time!! I so don’t look forward to it. It’s going to be good and yet stressful at the same time since I won’t have much time to work on the computer at all.

Hi all!! Today I’m going to share a new set of Photoshop patterns. There are 11 patterns in the set, they were created in Photoshop CS3. I also included the individual .jpg image of the patterns in the set for those of you who don’t use CS3. I do have more than these 11 patterns, but for today, I’m sharing these first.. just because I’m so so tired. My eyes are closing as I’m typing this. -.- I haven’t been sleeping much in the past week due to some horrible stomach bugs that infected the whole family.. Kids have been sick and I’ve been staying up at nights cleaning the mess! Absolutely. Tired.

I hope you’ll like the new patterns. They are 500×500 pixels in dimensions, therefore they’re suitable for background prints.. I think!? I haven’t actually tested them yet, but just from looking at the previews if I set them up on an A4 paper in my Photoshop, they look good/large enough for you to print them for scrap-booking, maybe?

Hey guys.. This is just a random post from me. I’ve been feeling ‘unsettled’ about how my site’s doing, now. I enjoy having this WP as the main CMS for the platform. But at the same time I’m feeling kind of restricted, somehow. I know for a fact that I won’t have time to design and code my own WP theme anytime soon. But outsourcing for free themes makes me feel ‘lost’ for some reason. It’s weird, because it’s not my own design, I feel like I’m not at home, you know?!

So there are a few things that I’d like to have your inputs for.. I do hope that you’ll help me by telling me what you honestly think is best for this site.

• Do you like the current setup of this site? I mean, do you find using WordPress, HG is a much better site?
• Do you prefer HG to have the old traditional setup, by putting everything on a different section consisting pages of goodies and I only update on the main page with whatever new I upload?
• Should I just say screw site design and just keep up with the sharing of my resources??

If you do like HG to be in WP format, then I would keep it the way it is and will just have to look for a better theme as a layout. I am absolutely new to wordpress and I’m still experimenting with the different features that WP can have. I know that I won’t be designing my own theme anytime soon, though. I’ve tried doing it for the whole year, last year and I managed to make about 3 different themes and coded from scratch and I always ended up with feeling .. ‘omg I can’t be bothered with this‘ along the way.

If you have suggestions that would help me with this site, I would really appreciate it.
